Educators

Around the world, too many students are struggling with anxiety, depression, and poor mental health. Forgiveness education is one form of social-emotional learning that has proven effective in reducing anger and increasing well-being in children and adults.

Forgiveness in the Classroom

Tool
Non-Region Specific

To build a better future, students must be empowered with the social and emotional tools—like forgiveness—they need to live healthy, productive, thriving lives. Teachers and educational advocates around the world have worked to integrate forgiveness into the classroom. This curriculum, authored by Dr. Suzanne Freedman, is designed for upper level primary school and helps students learn to express and regulate emotions in a healthy way.

Forgiveness works. It not only reduces anger and improves the collaboration between the students but also improves academic achievement. I have seen miracles happening in the classrooms between the students and within their families.
