Faith Leaders
Forgiveness is an age-old practice and is central to the teaching of many of the world's religions. In Islam, forgiveness suggests alignment with Allah. In Judaism, acts of atonement are expected for wrongdoing. In Christianity, forgiveness is unconditional. Empirical studies have demonstrated how religious belief can enhance a person's ability to forgive and make the benefits more attainable. In forgiveness, the spiritual and the scientific meet and enhance each other.
